Mobile Premier League (MPL) has elevated Vibhav Viswanathan to the position of head of product. Viswanathan will oversee all aspects of MPL’s product management and drive product-led growth and engagement, retention, monetisation and payments. In addition, he will continue to lead MPL’s developer platform and developer SDK (software development kit).
Vibhav Viswanathan, who joined MPL as VP developer platform in 2020 has played an important role in bringing new category games on the platform and smooth integration with developers through MPL’s SDK (software development kit).
Viswanathan was a product leader at Amazon Web Services (AWS) in Silicon Valley in the United States, prior to joining MPL.
“I am excited to take up this larger role as Head of Product to create immersive and delightful experiences for our gamers. We are also focusing on inventing on behalf of our game development partners to provide them with state-of-the-art infrastructure,” said Viswanathan on becoming the head of product.
Viswanathan holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a technical degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur.
