M42 esports to invest $750,000 in Indian esports ecosystem; announces ‘Valorant’ roster

Meliora 42 Esports (or M42), a global esports organisation headquartered in Singapore with more than 50 athletes and content creators across the globe, announced their entry into Indian Esports with their Valorant roster featuring Ankit ‘V3NOM’ Panth.

M42 Esports will have a five-man roster starring Ankit ‘V3NOM’ Panth, Aakash ‘RiX’ More, Shelin ‘HyPer’ Patel, Kalpesh ‘SAM’ Kotkar and Anurodh ‘Em0’ Pashilkar. The announcement has already been greeted with positive response from the Indian Gaming community who are looking forward to seeing the team in action for upcoming tournaments.

“We thrilled to welcome V3nom and his team to our roster, and are very pleased to have entered India with such a talented team. We truly believe in India’s potential to be an Esports Superpower in the near future, and the announcement of our Valorant roster is just the first step, as we are planning to invest over $750,000 in the Indian Esports Ecosystem over the next 3 years. We are working on putting together a team for BattleGrounds Mobile India, Call of Duty: Mobile and Free Fire so watch out for more exciting announcements. We are also working with our Local and Global partners to help develop grassroots infrastructure for Esports in India,” said M42 esports chief marketing officer Jesus Garbayo.

They will also be officially launching Josudo amateur tournaments and coaching platform for amateur players in India. “While Josudo is already known to Indian e-gamers, top talent in the team will help us to grow much faster,” says  Garbayo. Josudo is part of the M42 esports group, and is an online platform focused on easy-access tournaments for anyone to join at any time, regardless of their level of skill.

M42 has just released their new website this week, including an online shop with M42 merchandise available for sale.
