Jio has silently launched a game controller which is compatible on Android TVs, Android tablets, Jio set-top boxes and other devices. The controller has up to eight hours of battery life on a single charge.
Company claims that there are a total of 20-button control layout. The controller comprises of two primary triggers and eight arrow and direction buttons. Apart from that, to provide immersive experience the controller comes with two vibration motors.
The Jio Game Controller is priced at Rs 3,499 and comes with only matte black colour. EMI option is also available to purchase with the device with minimum EMI starting at Rs 165 per month. Jio Game Controller can be purchased at the official Reliance Jio website currently but going forward there are chances that it might be also available on other ecommerce platforms shortly.
The company claims that the users with Jio’s set-top box will enjoy best experience and the same experience will no be accessible to cable TV channels that a user gets with Tata Play’s (previously Tata Sky) smart set-top box.
The controller comes with Bluetooth v4.1 technology for a low latency connection with a wireless range of up to 10 meters.
