Fortnite is all set to host the fourth edition of the much-anticipated film festival Short Nite 2022. The celebration for the same is currently live in-game and it will go on till 16 May 2022, 2 pm EST. In Short Nite, independent animators and creators showcase a variety of short animated films in the annual event. A selection of ten short films by Epic Games will be showcased in the game and will be accessible to the players. Three of ten short films will be premiered worldwide and the tenth one will be premiered without a venue.
The manifestation of Short Nite originally took place in Fortnite’s party royale island. Over time, it has become elaborate, especially with last year’s Halloween-themed edition. In creative mode, there will be nine custom-built different virtual theatres. The players will be able to group up with at least seven users. The players can watch the short films while playing battle royale and other game modes as the festival will support picture-in-picture view.
