Student esports tournament Red Bull Campus Clutch is back for round two

Red Bull Campus Clutch, the global university student esports tournament, is back for round two! Open to all college and university students worldwide, players will team up, represent their campus and put their skills on display, with the chance to play on the world stage. Last year’s competition saw over 400 events in 50 countries conducted, with 25,000 student players of all levels taking part. Registrations are now open for this year’s tournament, kicking off in August with a competitive experience that will see one team crowned the best student VALORANT team in the world.

The call for entries for Red Bull Campus Clutch, the biggest global VALORANT university tournament is officially open, with 10 online and 10 offline qualifiers in India taking place from 13 August to 10 September. The competition challenges student gamers of all levels across the nation to team up, represent their campus, and compete on the world stage to create history for their university and their country. To enter the exciting global event, students must rally up their team of five and register to compete across three phases: Qualifiers, National Finals and World Final.

The tournament in India will be launched through the Frag-Out, an exhibition match, which will be held on 18 August from 3 pm to 9 pm. This Streamers Challenge – exhibition match with Red Bull Athlete Ankit ‘V3nom’ Panth (C), Rakazone (C), Tbone, FA2, Pinkcess, Euphoria, Lord Bhatura, Midfail, Xyaa and Jimmy Gaming followed by a showdown between Team VLT and Team Enigma Gaming (Top Valorant teams in the country).

Offline Qualifiers are being planned to take place in Bangalore, Chennai, Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad and Jaipur

National Finals:

When: 24 September

Where: Dublin Square, Phoenix Marketcity, Kurla, Mumbai

Format: Top four teams from India – LAN

Each team of five will progress through qualifiers, with the top teams making their way to their respective National Final. Here the country’s top student teams will go head to head, with the winners named Red Bull Campus Clutch National Final Winners, earning a chance to represent their country in the World Final. By December from the thousands of squads that entered only 50 teams will remain. Each will receive an all-expenses paid invite to the epic Red Bull Campus Clutch World Final, a LAN event held in São Paulo, Brazil, that will decide who becomes the Red Bull Campus Clutch World Final Winner. For many, the event will be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to compete in a live professional event and leave a legacy at their university. The winning team will also receive €20,000 in prize money, and an exclusive VIP experience at a 2023 VALORANT Champions Tour event.
