AIGF partners with MPL as the official title sponsor for AIGF Knowledge Series’ first edition in Meghalaya

All India Gaming Federation, the apex industry body for the sunrise online gaming sector, is all set to host “AIGF Knowledge Series” and has signed up with Mobile Premier League (MPL) as the official title sponsor this year. The series will also be powered by renowned poker platform Spartan Poker and online gaming company Gameskraft. 

Furthermore, AIGF announced that the Meghalaya CM, Conrad Sangma, will be the chief guest and do the inaugural address for the event. 

All India Gaming Federation CEO Roland Landers said, “We are excited to have Meghalaya CM, Conrad Sangma as the chief guest along with having such eminent gaming operators on board with us for the Meghalaya leg of the AIGF Knowledge Series this year. Our association is not just to promote responsible gaming but also to bring forth imperative themes and discussions related to the entire gaming ecosystem large forward. We are honoured to receive the support of our fellow stakeholders and aim to foster a revolutionary change for all in the industry.”

The “AIGF Knowledge Series” is a cohesive module to spark up conversations and create awareness about online skill gaming landscape. The series will be held in collaboration with different states in the country to foster insightful and riveting discussions across strategic gaming themes through panel discussions, fireside chats by various domain experts from the industry and gaming ecosystem. 

Commenting on the partnership, MPL SVP (Legal and Policy) Dibyojyoti Mainak said, “The AIGF Knowledge series is a stepping stone towards building guided and focussed conversations towards responsible skill based online gaming. We are thrilled to be a part of it and excited to witness pathbreaking ideas being formulated in these two days. The event aims to bring together online gaming stakeholders including policy makers, operators, facilitators media, investors, game developers and start-ups. Apart from these other Ministers including James Sangma and several key current and former bureaucrats and domain experts will have an integral role to play in the state-industry interaction. 

Discussion will take place on important industry themes like “Importance and benefits of regulating this sunrise sector by State”, “Global best practices – Online Skill Gaming”, “Online Skill Gaming – Judicial Acceptance”, “Building efficiencies in the Gaming Ecosystem”, “Life Skills & Online Gaming” and many more.

The event is all set to air on 7-8 April 2022, between IST 4–7 pm and will benefit individuals from all escorts of the industry, online gaming stakeholders, policy makers, operators, facilitators, media, investors, game developers and start-ups who are keen to consider the developments in gaming in Meghalaya, as well as keep abreast with the pace this industry has set across India.
