Devang Dholakia’s comic caper Kuch Kuch Locha Hai is all set for release on 8 May 2015. Produced by Mukesh Purohit of Magic Pictures and K.K Agarwal, the film is being co-produced by Maximus Multimedia and Riyaz Mohammed. The project is also being backed by Japan based Asha Jhaveri and Blueberry Productions who have joined the film as associate producers.
Kuch Kuch Locha Hai has been in the news for its unusual pairing of the sizzling hot Sunny Leone and the affable Ram Kapoor. The film will also see the debut of Delhi boy Navdeep Chhabra, who is paired opposite the pretty Evelyn Sharma.
While the film is being touted as a sex comedy, director Devang Dholakia is quick to correct the perception, “My film is not a sex comedy. It is a sexy comedy and there is a vast difference between the two. The humor is very tongue in cheek and will cut across all age groups. The characters are all identifiable and have you rooting for them from the word go. All my actors have done an outstanding job and the film is now in post production.”
Producer Mukesh Purohit adds, “This is the first film from Magic Pictures and I couldn’t be happier that I begin my journey with the release of Kuch Kuch Locha Hai. Devang has done a brilliant job directing the film and all the actors have pumped in large doses of lively fun into their characters. Word has it that Kuch Kuch Locha Hai boasts not only of an eclectic cast and a fun story but of chartbusting music too. Zee Music has joined hands with the film and has given them seven sure shot hit tracks which will soon shake up the music scene. Says Anurag Bedi, Zee Music: “We are happy that our producer and director have had faith in our conviction on creating a blockbuster album for KKLH, people are going to love the songs and we are confident about setting a new benchmark.”
