With the second wave of a Covid-19 ravaging the country and new lockdown regulations announced, people have been forced to stay homebound again this year. During these tough times when art and stories are what keeping the faith of people together, linear TV channel, &flix hopes to entertain viewers with its summer line-up of movies.
With ‘Flix Summer Time’, the channel has lined up a slew of blockbuster movies every day starting 11.30 am throughout the month of May. The slate includes a number of animated and VFX heavy movies such as The Amazing Spiderman, Avengers: Infinity War, Zathura: A Space Adventure, and Ghostbusters in the package.
Hotel Transylvania is another movie that will be screened in ‘Flix Summer Time’. Directed by Genndy Tartakovsky, this animated film’s voice cast includes Hollywood biggies like Adam Sandler, Andy Samberg, and Selena Gomez in the lead roles.
Another animated movie that will be screened on &flix is The Emoji Movie, which revolves around the story of Gene, a multi-expression emoji, who gets sentenced to be deleted after he messes up a message.
&flix is an English movie channel from Zee Entertainment Enterprises which formally launched on 3 June 2018, replacing Zee Studio. This is the second English movie channel under the ‘&’ brand. In September 2017, the broadcaster had launched a premium English movie channel &privé HD. The channel telecasts movies in multiple languages – English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
