On 20 February 2021, AnimationXpress hosted the first edition of VFX and more Awards which packed a 250 plus entries coming in from not just the visual effects studios but also the production houses and independent artists.
Before the commencement of the awards ceremony, the event saw a couple of sessions lined up which were thought-provoking and insightful, encapsulating the VAM Summit and Awards 2021 journey.
The awards ceremony saw a range of breakdowns and sizzle reels, amping up the visual delight. Seeing a range of stakeholders from all levels of the value chain right from producers to VFX artists to students to technology providers.
Along with the winner plaque from AnimationXpress, all the winners would also receive 300 hours of Computing Credits by the event’s Award fulfillment partner – SpeedGaze. Huion which was the support partner for VAM Awards also provided a high-end tablet to the winner of Best VFX Student Project.
