VFX producer N Madhusudhan is to recieve the Dr Zakir Hussain award for outstanding contribution to arts at the 58th Independence Day & Awards function organised by Friends of Indo – American community (FOIAC). The awards are to be held on 19 August at Western Bonaventure Hotel in downton Los Angeles.
Madhusudhanan is concurrently working on 2 films in Hollywood, one of which is Theory productions’ Midget Man a live action flick with a lot of 3D.
Speaking to Animation ‘xpress Madhu said that,” Any award is a motivation for any artists. In that sense, I am greatly honoured and thrilled to receive Dr.Zakir Hussain’s award for outstanding achievement for Arts, as this is my first award away from home! This award as I was told given to Indians who contribute to the global industry especially to Hollywood every year on part of Indian Independence day celebrations in America by Indians who are settled in America”
On being asked as to the developments with his and LOTR producer Barrie Osborne’s India venture, Madhu hinted,”We will be announcing our India venture shortly within the next few months”
