“We Care. We Share.” Nurturing Creativity amongst the Under-Privileged Children. Zee Institute of Creative Art (ZICA) conducts creativity test with the under privileged children.

Creativity or imaginative thinking is found across all societies in the world. However, certain sections of the society with immense creative talent have remained untapped. With the expanding world of media, the demand for animators is on an all time rise. The ‘We Care We Share’ initiative of Zee Institute of Creative Art (ZICA) aims to bring creative talent to the forefront by introducing the world of animation to the children from the under-privilege section of the society.

The creative arm of Zee Learn, Zee Institute of Creative Art (ZICA) has dedicated the current month to the service of the community. Zee Institute of Creative Art (ZICA) is India’s first full-fledged Classical and Digital Animation Training with over 30 centers in more than 15 major cities, offering degree courses in Animation and Visual Effects, Animation Film Making and Visual Communication.

Noida: ZICA’s Noida center visits the Delhi based Orphanage – Mission to the Unreached in new Ashok Nagar and offers 100 per cent scholarship for the qualifying ones

In an attempt to introduce the under-privileged children to the professional world, ZICA had conducted the creativity test for the children from the Delhi-based Mission to the Unreached, located in new Ashok Nagar on September 8, 2012. The children qualifying the test will be offered 100 per cent scholarship for the certificate program in 2D & 3D animation. Besides offering the scholarship, nearly 60 ZICA students pursuing various courses in animation also gifted these children with clothes & refreshments. The tools for the painting competition were provided by ZICA to these children to showcase their creativity.      

Bangalore: ZICA Banashankari center organized a visit to Anatha Shishu Nivasa, an orphanage in the Basavangundi area of Bangalore, on September 16, 2012. The students and faculty carried gifts for the underprivileged kids and also entertained the kids by:

Arranging for joker costumes, dance competition and prize distribution for the kids, organizing for a movie show where cartoon characters entered the hall and entertained the children with party poppers, snow spray, water bubbles and also danced with them. The ZICA students also played games like four corners with the kids from the orphanage.

Talking on the occasion, Mr. Prabhanjan Chappar, Business Head of Zee Institute of Creative Art (ZICA) said, “This program aims to reach out to the pool of talent across the country.  This campaign aims to bring the marginalized to the mainstream. The campaign will enable the children of the underprivileged strata of the society to showcase their talent and creativity and shine in the mainstream.”

“ZICA’s initiative will also provide employment opportunities to the needy children in the creative segment and help them to prosper in life, added Mr. Prabhanjan Chappar.
