ng Basic, Intermediate and Advanced level training modules of Unity 3D for Students and Gaming Studios.
Till date, Axiom Studios has created gaming apps Snake 2013, Jewels of the East, Coin Pusher & the Dot Game. Functioning as a service based studio too, Axiom delivers Mobile apps & casual games for iPhone, iPods, Android devices, Apps & Casual games for social platforms like Yahoo, Facebook, Chrome and Digital books, magazines for mobile platform.
Speaking to AnimationXpress.com about the idea behind launching Unity 3D training, Neha Chandar, Co- Founder of Axiom says, “Unity 3D is the next BIG thing in the Indian gaming Industry & since it is gaining popularity in the Indian Gaming Market, we thought to help independent game development studios and students gain understanding of this software to create a well polished game.”
Course Content for the Basic module includes Introduction to Unity interface, Basic Scripting, Physics, Camera, Lighting, whereas Intermediate has Plugins, Shaders, Cross platform deployment and Advanced module, along with covering Plugins, will focus on Ragdolls, Shaders and Optimization.
Duration of training depends upon the module selected, which for student’s can go up to 3 months whereas for gaming studios it can range from a week to couple of months.
When asked Neha about the opportunity that one may get after being a part of this training, she says, “If a student has an interesting game concept, we may surely help them develop & publish it.”
Axiom Studios is all set to conduct the very first Unity 3D training program, next week at Kochi are planning to showcase their games at this year’s NGDC.
