Organized by Jasubhai Digital Media the second edition of interactive gaming expo SKOAR! 2006 ended with lots of celebration and fanfare on 10 July 2006. The three day Interactive Gaming Expo held at Kanteerava Stadium, Bangalore went a long way in showcasing the acceptability of gaming in India.
Logitech, BenQ, Sify, Western Digital, Hutch, Jivanta were some of the major companies participating in this Gaming Expo organized. Gamers also won lots of prizes on offer by various companies.
The press release states “SKOAR! 2006 fulfilled lots of dreams like that of Sanjay Vij, a 6 year old handicap, who wanted to play games like soccer cricket with his friends but could not. He not only played these games with fervor and gusto but also pointed out to his friends on intricacies of these games or Rahul an aspiring Games Developer got an opportunity to see the games that are being played internationally played”

Approximately 50,000 footfalls were recorded during these 3 days. People came to play racing and war games and got hooked on to skill building games. ”
