Raj comics to debut SuperIndian comic series

nullCurrently in its 20th year of operations, Delhi based comic book publisher Raj Comics is launching a new comic series titled ‘SuperIndian’ by the end of this month.

Speaking exclusively to Animation ‘xpress, Raj Comics CEO Manoj Gupta said, “This holiday season we are planning to launch a new comic series SuperIndian. A lot of research went into creating this character and the storyline has been set up in an ultra modern futuristic City of India, in the year 2020. SuperIndian is a character spanning the whole wheel of time. His uniqueness is his upbringing, which is taken care of by all the big villains of our time. They themselves have taught him everything and now they have no place to hide as SuperIndian knows them inside out”

The publishing house which publishes popular titles such as Nagraj, Super Commando Dhruva and Parmanu has a strong hold in the Hindi speaking belt and has so far published more than three thousand comic titles. Around 12 separate teams of artists comprising of writers, illustrators, inkers, calligraphers and colorists work all round the year with the publisher which claims a circulation of around 80,000 copies and a readership close to 3 lakh for a given comic title.
