On 25 February 2021, BOOM! Studios revealed a brand new trailer for BRZRKR #1. Keanu Reeves co-created his first comic book, and is serving as the narrator for its new trailer.
In the video, which was posted on the publisher’s official YouTube channel, Reeves spoke as the man who is known only as B. and is half-mortal and half-god, cursed and compelled to violence, even at the sacrifice of his own sanity. But after wandering the world for centuries, B. may have finally found a refuge, working for the U.S. government to fight the battles too violent and too dangerous for anyone else. In exchange, B. will be granted the one thing he desires, the truth about his endless blood-soaked existence and how to end it.
Reeves co-created BRZRKR with Matt Kind (Mind MGMT) and Ron Garney (Captain America, Wolverine). The series had a wildly impressive campaign on Kickstarter, and currently serves as the best selling comic since Marvel’s relaunch of the Star Wars comic in 2014. To date, over 600,000 copies of BRZRKR #1 have been sold, leading to a slight delay for the print release date as demand for copies has gone up.
BRZRKR #1 goes on sale on 3 March 2021 from BOOM! Studios.
