with Wijit Technologies.

Currently Comics Circle has more than 15 publishers on board with more than 150 titles of comics & graphic novels. “Yomics, Vanayu Comics, Meta Desai, Mantaray Comics, Chariot Comics, Champak Comics, Campfire and Amar Chitra Katha are some of the publishers that have tied up with this app.” adds Darnish.
This app provides an excellent opportunity for Publishers, individual artists to showcase their talent, at the same time, it provides readers with the option to adapt to new digital age media. “The look and feel of Comica Circle is that of a bookstore setup. One can navigate through the app, sorting by popularity, new arrivals, editor’s picks based on respective genres, artist, series etc.” highlights Darnish.
Lucid Lane and Winjit Technologies started working on this app from May 2013 . A detailed research was undertaken by both the firms regarding the popular e-bookstores, in order to draw some navigational metrics. In terms of UI / UX, Lucid Lane ensured to touch up on ‘premium and niche’ feel to Comics Circle. The tech was built at Winjit with a view to create a great experience for buying as well as reading.
Each comic gives the reader 3 preview pages and complete information on the publisher, creator, art, writer, illustrator and allows users to rank the content and write a feedback to the publisher of any particular comic. Buy once and Read on Multiple Devices, Unique Box View Feature for Reading Panel to Panel, Bookmark which will help one to create and Erase Annotations and Index View for easy navigation are some of the additional features of this app. “It’s like a comics book store on each one’s palm!” concludes Darnish
