Campfire Graphic Novels Launch Magical Animals at 4th Annual Indian Comic Con

Created under a new brand titled Campfire Junior for younger readers, is Campfire Graphic Novels latest offering, Magic Animals, a 72 pages book, that was launched at 4th Annual Indian Comic Con and is a retelling of the stories of Goldilocks, The Three Little Pigs and the Frog Prince and also the Big Bad Wolf and a cameo from Red Riding Hood.

The book, created using Adobe In design, is aimed at kids from 4+. Authors of this book are Jason Quinn & Sourav Dutta, Illustration, Colours and Letters are brought out by Rajesh Nagulakonda.

Speaking to AnimationXpress.com about Magic Animals, Jason, says, “I’ve always loved fairy tales and the village of Ever After is a magical place where all our favorite characters live together.”

“I wanted to write a book for younger readers and to really get them interested in reading .When thinking about the right book that would have an appeal for kids; I got to thinking about the things children love. Animals came to mind. All kids love animals and of course, magical animals are the best of the lot.”Adds more


Jason believes that graphic novels should read and feel like a great movie and hence Cuddly and Soft colored Look and feel of Magic Animals is picked from animated movies.

“I wanted this book to be like a really great Pixar movie.” Adds further
The main challenge while creating this book was to come up with something engaging and interesting for every page.

“For me as a writer this book was a pleasure. It made a nice change not to be researching and to just enjoy the story.”


Magic Animals, priced at INR 399, is available at major bookstores and can also be purchased from Campfire’s official website.
