Vaibhav More Films & ARTHA Animation Create Disney Princess Academy 2014 Promo

Mumbai based Vaibhav More Films & ARTHA Animation have collaborated for the very first time to create Disney Princess Academy 2014 Promo. Directed, ideated and scripted by Vaibhav More- Founder of Vaibhav More Films, this 30 seconds promo is an extension of a similar clip that was executed last year by Vaibhav Studios. Aired on leading television channels, Star Plus, Colors, Disney, and Hungama, the promo also managed to reach audiences through theatrical screenings.

AnimationXpress.com asked Vaibhav More what was the approach followed for Directing this TVC and he says, “My primary concern is always to focus on the script, getting the communication right, and at the same time I try to make sure that every promo that I bring out should look different from my past creations.”

Expressing happiness on collaboration with ARTHA Animation, Vaibhav, adds, “Really happy to work with ARTHA and appreciate immense support received throughout the project from its Founder Gaurav Malhotra.”

Created in a time span of 7 days, this promo is targeted at young girls audience between 4 -12 years. Animation of the promo was handled by Gaurav Malhotra, Lighting & Texturing done by Shriram Prabhu, Modeling was executed by Mamas  and Bharat and Compositing was brought out by Yogesh & Swatantra.

Model sheets and storyboards for the promo were designed by Vaibhav. The team shot references for creating smooth Animation and it helped studio to complete work at a faster pace.

Gaurav Malhotra, Founder of ARTHA Animation, says, “Rather running towards the 8 day completion, we spent half a day to schedule it properly to achieve our goal within the shortest of timeline and then it was just following our small milestones to achieve the big one on 7th day.”

“It was an awesome experience to work with Vaibhav ji, who precisely knows what he wants and he is an Amazing Director and Artist.”

For Vaibhav More, the prime challenge in creating this promo was to maintain the style of last year’s campaign and to fit all the required content in 30 seconds duration, keeping the innocence alive.

“Matching the style of Vaibhav Kumaresh was a challenge and my deep concern was if I will be able to justify the style of Vaibhav Kumareshji, but I’m happy that we made it possible.”

In the coming days, we will see more of animation coming up from these studios as they are now working on a 10 second TVC for French Cheese Brand the “Coeur de Lion”
