Speaking to Animationxpress.com’s Zeenia Boatwala about YouTube 101, Akshata Udiaver, Honorary Secretary, TASI, informs, “We had been in talks with Bharat for a long time to do a series with aspiring animators in India, especially after the enthusiastic response to his talk at Anifest India 2012. YouTube provides a brilliant platform for any original content creator to showcase his or her work, reach a global audience, do this all for free and at the same time, if one’s content is good and appreciated, let the content earn money for you too! Digital media is the way to go.  This is certainly an opportunity not to be missed by any creative person wanting to reach out to the world.”

There is no registration fee for this workshop, but entry is limited to existing TASI members only. Those eager to participate in this workshop but are not members can contact TASI and take up a membership with them. One also needs to have a YouTube channel and be committed to completing the assignments given during the course of the session. Students will receive a certificate from YouTube and will be eligible for a reward program based on their project/practical work.
