Russia based SMF Studio (Soyuzmultfilm) has announced that its new animated series will be broadcasted by the largest telecommunications provider in Vietnam
One of the telecom giants of Vietnam, FPT Telecom, has picked up five new animated TV series for its IPTV and OTT FPT Television services.
SMF Studio has secured a deal with FPT Telecom for its 5 animated TV series – The Secrets of Honey Hills (52 х 7’), The Adventures of Peter and Wolf (52 х 11’), Mr Theo, Cat & Dog (52 х 6’30’’), Captain Kraken and his Crew (26 х 7’) and Pirates’ School (11 х 11’).
These series will be broadcasted via the aforementioned services in Vietnamese language. This is the first licensed contract for new SMF Studio’s content in Vietnam.
Commenting on the deals, SMF Studio (Soyuzmultfilm) chairman of the board Yuliana Slashcheva said, “Distribution to international markets is one of the key strategic goals in the development of our company, and we are very pleased that such a telecommunications giant is showing interest in Russian animation as well as in the new studio product. That proves once again that we can produce a high-quality and versatile content that would be understood by a viewer from anywhere in the world. We are confident that the new audience will highly appreciate our animation, which is already loved by millions of kids, and will turn to a long-term relationship with FPT Telecom”.
