Mocomi.com Launches Mocomag, fortnightly digital magazine for kids

Mocomi.com with a vision to Inspire Curiosity in kids has launched today, Mocomag, a fortnightly magazine for Kids between the ages of 6 to 12. Given that the online magazine is being launched today, the 13th, the theme chosen is extremely appropriate – Ghosts, Ghouls & Spooks. We all love the unknown and the inaugural issue deals with all things spooky and sinister. The first magazine contains topics like Vampires, spooky places, Mummies, the Bermuda Triangle and our very own Sir Dig-A-Lot. Mocomi is a short for Motion Comics and the aim is to turn all the kid’s related content into fun, interactive motion comics.

Mocomag digital magazine which will go out to kids every fortnight and be packed with amazing content which comes alive through animation, interactivity and gaming.  While the website has over 3000 modules for kids, Mocomi wanted to create a magazine like experience which kids could look forward to in every two weeks.

Kids today are increasingly digitally savvy and consume insane amounts of content and Mocomg aims to provide content which will resonate with the kids, make them go wow and also make them aware of the world around them Mocomag and all Mocomi content believes in an inquiry based education system wherein the child is encouraged to question and be curious.

Jesh Krishna Murthy, CEO of Mocomi.com says, “It is our job to “Inspire Curiosity! That is our mantra and if we keep inspiring curiosity at every stage of a child’s development then we give them their best shot at life.  Our goal is to create leaders and not followers and unfortunately today, a lot of what we teach our kids is about following and not leading.”

Being a veteran in the animation & VFX industry, for Jesh, it has been a logical progression into the online space where he envisioned a platform that could combine great art with cutting edge technology to help tell stories to kids.  “We want to tell stories to kids.  Stories about our culture, the world around us, about physics, math and just about anything.  Why can’t everything be a story rather than an abstract concept that evokes no emotion or curiosity?” emphasizes Jesh

At Mocomi, our goal is to reverse this process and empower the child to be curious with a passion. , concludes, Jesh.
