Global CG & VFX experts George Bruder and Marlon Mantgomery are slated to visit India later this month as part of NVIDIA�s Digital Bollywood initiative that was kickstarted by the global graphics processing major in November last year.
The list of global experts that have visited India and shared with the community includes Volker Engel and Andrew Daffy. This month’s star attractions include George Bruder who was a key expert involved in helping set up Dream Works Animation pipeline and Marlon Mantgomery who has long been involved in helping animation studios set up and custom build their production pipelines. Marlon has also worked on Shrek, Anastasia besides being the VFX supervisor on the short Memories of You.
The lectures flag off in Mumbai on April 16th at The Taj Land’s End, (2.00 PM). Chennai is to be held on 18 April at Taj Corramendel (2.00 PM) and the final session in Delhi on 20th at Welcome Hotel (2.00 PM)
Speaking to AnimationXpress.com NVIDIA’s Laura Dohrmann shared, “We are very excited about the lecture series. Its part of the our fulfillment of the “Digital Bollywood Initiative” George and Marlon have a very good talk prepared and it will be very informative”
