FX has released the official trailer for Little Demon, FX’s upcoming adult animated series featuring the voices of Aubrey Plaza, Lucy DeVito, and Danny DeVito.
The trailer features 13-year-old Chrissy as she finds out that she’s the devil’s daughter after accidentally killing her bullies. It is scheduled to make its debut on 25 August on both FX and Hulu.
The series is created and executive produced by Darcy Fowler, Seth Kirschner, and Kieran Valla. It will be led by Lucy DeVito, Danny DeVito, and Aubrey Plaza with Dave Bautista, Mel Brooks, Rhea Perlman, Sam Richardson, Patrick Wilson, Pamela Adlon, and Michael Shannon to guest star.
Here’s the official synopsis: Little Demon will center around a reluctant mother and her Antichrist daughter as they attempt to live a normal life in Delaware 13 years after the Devil and the mother conceived a child,” reads the synopsis. “Throughout the series, the duo will have to deal with different monstrous forces, including Satan himself who is looking to gain custody of his daughter.
Little Demon is produced by DeVito’s Jersey Films 2nd Avenue, ShadowMachine, and FX Productions. Executive producers are Dan Harmon, Aubrey Plaza, Lucy DeVito, Jake DeVito, Danny Devito, Monica Mitchell, Corey Campodonico, and Alex Bulkley.
