Eden Animation signs Emmy Award winning writer Jeffrey Scott for ‘The Gift of Sacred Lake‘‘

Eden Animation Studio is developing their new feature length movie project ‘The Gift of Sacred Lake’ targeting global audience of family genre. The feature will be of around 90 minutes duration and it will be made in 3D stereoscopic animation. Chairman of Eden Animation Studio Dinesh Jain announced the news of signing Jeffrey Scott for script development of the feature in a recent conversation.

Jain shares “The script is the most vital part of any production, Eden is constantly working on producing a wonderful story in animation for the audience across the world. Working with a writer like Jeffrey Scott will definitely help Eden to reach their goal and entertain the kids and their family. The feature film plot is based on a romantic comedy set in ancient Europe”.

Jeffrey Scott’s writing has been honoured with three Emmys and the Humanitas Prize. He has written over 700 scripts for Hanna-Barbera, Marvel, Disney, Warner Bros., Universal, Columbia and Paramount. His TV credits include producing, story-editing, writing such hit animated series as Super Friends, Spider-Man, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Sonic the Hedgehog, and the award-winning Dragon Tales and Jim Henson’s Muppet Babies. His screenplay credits include the first full-length 3-D (stereoscopic) animated film, Starchaser: The Legend of Orin. In addition to writing live and animated TV and films he is author of the acclaimed book, How to Write for Animation.

The project holds immense opportunity to become a grand success over the world”.Eden is also roping a very famous Director with huge international accolades for the project to be announced soon and talking with distributors and licensing agents for global sales and distribution.

The pre-production for the project will be done in Europe and voice recording-music will be done in USA. Eden is now looking for post-production partner for the project. A TV series and interactive rich media applications for multiple platforms will be developed in later course of time and the total budget for the project is set around 3 million USD with a completion period by second quarter of 2013.
