DC releases ‘Harley Quinn’ season three’s prequel comic ‘Harley Quinn: The Animated Series: The Eat. Bang! Kill. Tour’ for free

Before the release of season three of HBO Max’s Harley Quinn animated series, fans who want to catch up on the show’s spinoff comic book series can now do so for free.

For all DC Universe Infinite subscribers, all six issues of DC’s Harley Quinn: The Animated Series: The Eat. Bang! Kill. Tour are currently available for free reading. The comic book limited series, which was written by Tee Franklin and drawn by Max Sarin, takes place between the events of seasons two and three of the television series Harley Quinn. Immediately following the shocking season two finale, in which Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy made their romance official and rode off into the sunset together after the latter’s wedding to Kite Man fell through, this takes place.

In November 2019, Harley Quinn made its debut on the now-defunct DC Universe streaming service, which was eventually restructured into the digital comics subscription service DC Universe Infinite. The first season of the show ended in February 2020. Harley Quinn made a quick comeback for a second season which lasted from April 2020 to June 2020.

The Eat. Bang! Kill. Tour comic by Franklin and Sarin debuted digitally in August 2021 before going on sale in print the following month. The sixth and final issue went on sale physically and digitally in February 2022. The much-anticipated third season of animated Harley Quinn is set to release on 28 July. The streaming service has also given the go-ahead for a spin-off series called Noonan’s, which will focus on the character of Kite Man.
