Speaking to AnimationXpress.com on the response to CGTExpo 2010 CGTantra Co Founder RK Chand shared, “The tremendous support that we have got from the industry is truly overwhelming. We are very happy with the event though the participation was not as many as we have expected but we served the needs of the people who walked in. Job fairs saw a good turn out and the event proved to be good for networking, meeting students and professionals. I would like to thank all the organizers, supporters, volunteers and the audience”.

One of the ardent supporters, Shelley Page, Head of International Outreach for DreamWorks Animation says, “The CGTantra Expo presented a fantastic opportunity for attendees to hear from some of the leading VFX and animation studios. In an increasingly global industry it is very important for anyone interested in building a career to be aware of the latest developments – and CGTantra Expo is an unmissable chance to meet in person some of the leaders of this community.

Personally, I enjoyed CGTantra Expo as, in addition to sharing great international work with the always-enthusiastic attendees, it also gave me the opportunity to hear the presentations from studios I was interested in following. The friendly atmosphere encouraged interaction – and the awards event was a really great way to celebrate achievements in the past 12 months!”

One of the key sponsors, DSK Supinfocom International Campus‘ Assistant General Manager, P. Satyajeet says, “CGT Expo brought animation studios & institutes together and provided professionals, students and aspirants a platform to interact and gain knowledge from world renowned professionals. We had our first Graduation animation jury at CGT- EXPO this year and felt it is a stepping stone for the students to participate and network with top notch professionals”.
