Cartoon Network celebrates International Cat Day with a #TomTakeOver campaign

Diving into the celebrations of International Cat Day, Cartoon Network whooped up the goofy lives of our furry friends with #TomTakeover on their social media handles in the month of August.

#TomTakeover witnessed a paw-some transition to Cat-Toon Network with the bio and the profile picture reflecting the theme. The takeover commenced with an announcement post from Tom notifying his fans and well-wishers about the mayhem that would follow. The result was some serious cat-pawsting by Tom from the iconic chase comedy show Tom and Jerry with reels, posts and stories. On International Cat Day celebrated annually on 8 August, Tom had a fun banter with over 40 popular brands across categories including Imagicaa World, Muttofcourse, Tata Play, Portronics, 99 Pancakes, The Souled Store and many more, with a whole lot of wit and fur.

Elaborating on the campaign, Warner Bros.
