Adult animated comedy ‘Big Mouth’ returns for season six this October with some new voices

Netflix’s Emmy-winning adult animated comedy Big Mouth returns for a sixth season probing the terrifying depths of adolescence on 28 October, and there are some new voices joining these families that are always up to some goofiness and mischief.

Created by real-life best friends Nick Kroll and Andrew Goldberg, Big Mouth is all about ‘the glorious nightmare’ of puberty. Inspired by Kroll and Goldberg’s childhood, the series follows a group of friends and their hormone monsters as they navigate adolescence, human sexuality and coming of age.

Season six focuses on the theme of family as the characters continue each of their journeys, discovering that while you can’t always pick your family, you can surround yourself with those that love you for who you are.

Guest stars for this season are Grammy winner Adam Levine, Tony winner Annaleigh Ashford (American Crime Story), Amber Ruffin (The Amber Ruffin Show), Brian Tyree Henry (HouseBroken), Chris O’Dowd (as Flanny O’Lympic from the spin-off series Human Resources), Cole Escola (Tuca & Bertie), Ed Helms (BoJack Horseman), Ira Glass (This American Life), Jeff Goldblum (Jurassic Park), Matt Rogers (Q-Force), Peter Capaldi (Doctor Who), Steve-O (Jackass) and Tyler The Creator (The Jellies!).

The guest stars will join comedian John Mulaney as the voice of Andrew, Kroll as many characters, including best friend Nick. Maya Rudolph, Jason Mantzoukas, Jordan Peele, Fred Armisen, Ayo Edebiri and Jessi Klein. Kroll, Goldberg and screenwriter-directors Mark Levin and Jennifer Flackett are all creators and executive producers on the series. Big Mouth is a Netflix production.
