Krafton Ad Platform India launches to power BGMI’s next advertising play

Gaming is getting a new ad-tech player. Krafton Ad Platform India (KADP India), the Indian subsidiary of South Korean advertising technology company Neptune, has officially launched its advertising technology business in India, with Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) as its first major platform.

Established in April 2026 following Krafton’s acquisition of a majority stake In Neptune in April 2025, KADP India will act as the company’s strategic vehicle for bringing Neptune’s advertising technology and operations to the Indian market.

Its first assignment is a big one. KADP India has partnered with Krafton to manage advertising operations for BGMI, covering everything from inventory planning and design to campaign delivery, optimisation and operational management. The company will use Neptune’s proprietary technology platform alongside a local operations team.

Since its launch in 2021, BGMI has grown into one of India’s leading mobile games, clocking more than 260 million cumulative users through localised content and immersive player experiences.

The game has already become a playground for brand integrations. Collaborations with Royal Enfield, Mahindra, Hero MotoCorp and PepsiCo have brought products including the Bullet 350, Continental GT 650, BE 6, Xtreme 160R 4V, Xtreme 125R and Sting into the BGMI universe.

KADP India now plans to take that model beyond BGMI, expanding partnerships with premium digital media platforms across India as it builds what it describes as a premium advertising ecosystem.

The ambition is straightforward: give brands data-driven ways to reach India’s fast-growing digital audience while making advertising feel less like an interruption and more like part of the experience.

“Gaming is redefining how brands engage with consumers, and BGMI offers one of the most immersive environments to build those connections. Our vision is to transform advertising from an interruption into a meaningful part of the player experience, delivering solutions that create value for brands while preserving the authenticity and engagement that players expect. As we expand KADP India’s capabilities, we aim to set a new benchmark for performance-driven advertising in gaming,” expressed KADP India sales lead Krishna Kant Singh.

With BGMI already proving that games can double as brand playgrounds, KADP India is betting that India’s gaming boom has plenty more advertising real estate left to unlock.
