According to a recent report by The Hollywood Reporter, ‘Spiderman’ creator Stan Lee is currently working on his first Bollywood superhero movie starring his Indian superhero, ‘Chakra The Invinsible’.
Lee wants to bring to life this Indian superhero through a live-action superhero flick for which he is in talks top Bollywood directors and actors.
The original comic was introduced in 2011 and revolves around an Indian teenager, Raju Rai, a technology genius living in Mumbai. Determined to use science to unlock the secrets of human potential, Raju develops a suit that activates the mystical chakras of the body, unleashing newfound powers.
The character has already seen success in India, with an animated series launched on Cartoon Network India in 2013.
The film, expected to start by late 2015, will follow an older Raju in his fight against evil.
