Aptech’s Arena creates 3D TVC Dudolls

To familiarize Animation & Multimedia as a compelling career option & to create a high brand recall, Arena Multimedia, education segment of Aptech has generated their first 3D commercial titled ‘Dudolls’

The concept of Dudolls showcases Animation & Multimedia as a fun filled & rewarding career. The animated characters in this TVC are seen jumping out of the Arena logo to show energy & exuberance.

Dudolls focus on the facilities accessible at an Arena centre. It spotlights 2D, 3D, VFX & Web divisions of knowledge which Arena trains its students in.

The climax of this tvc aims at a student getting a job after the completion of his creation.

Speaking at the launch of Dudolls, Ninad Karpe, MD & CEO, Aptech Ltd said, “We have moved a step further in the world of animation with our latest TVC in 3D. It will help us reiterate ourselves as leaders in the animation arena and expand in our category. ‘Dudolls’ just reiterates how animation & multimedia is gaining prominence and has become a coveted career of the youth”.

The concept of Dudolls has been created by the marketing team at Arena & its creative agency Quadrum Solutions. Dudolls is produced & directed by the production house “Talking Donkeys” with Yogesh Sawant heading the animation module & Sachin Shrikrishna Vaidya focusing on the overall production.

Informing more on Dudolls, Sonya Banerjee, Marketing Head, Aptech stated “We’ve made a 3D commercial foreseeing the trend in 3D content. Planning on this required a foresight to integrate the 3D vision early in storyboarding stage & not as an after thought. The Dudolls characters seen jumping out of Arena logo, is indeed delighting & charming audiences across”.

Dudolls is out now in its 2D get up on various channels & it will be seen in 3D stereoscopy output at Cinema Theatres. Magic Tree Studio is in charge for the conversion of 2D to 3D production of Dudolls.

Elaborating on the challenges, Sonya Banerjee highlighted, “Any innovation brings its own challenges. Ours ranged from synergizing the thought between co-creators to some serious operational questions. Overcoming such challenges, creating templates for the 1st time & most importantly seeing the delightful reactions from audiences, the challenge seems worth in hindsight.”

Dudolls shall be promoted across media starting from TV (National channels & Regional channels), Web (across social media, video, and content), Cinema, Print to other extensions.
