Position: Animation Resource Assistant

Job Location: Bangalore

Experience: 0-2 yrs.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely and coordinate priorities with other R* studios and departments.
  • Evaluate assets for animation suitability and usability.
  • Maintain scene functionality via optimization and organisation of file assets for the cinematic department.stems.

Position: Face Animator

Job Location: Bangalore

Experience:0-6 yrs.

Responsibilities:

  • Create visually stunning 3D facial animations.
  • Work closely with our global studios to create balanced solutions to any related technical and aesthetic issues.
  • Animate natural and expressive motion to create realistic and fluid facial animations.
  • Implement, troubleshoot, and debug animation systems.
  • Help improve animation pipelines.

Position: Gameplay Animator – Animals

Job Location: Bangalore

Experience: 0-6 yrs.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the wider animation team to produce natural, nuanced and believable animation sets for our Gameplay mechanics.
  • Verify the quality of the animations integrated into the game by playing regularly.
  • Implement, troubleshoot and debug animation systems.
  • Help improve animation pipelines.

Position: Motion Capture Animator

Job Location: Bangalore

Experience: 0-6 yrs.

Responsibilities:

  • Process motion capture data through proprietary pipelines.
  • Retarget motion capture data to game assets using high end workflow.
  • Assist in creating tools and scripts to improve workflow.
  • Share and advance knowledge of worldwide teams.

Position: Production Coordinator

Job Location: Bangalore

Experience: 1-6 yrs.

Responsibilities

  • Organize, attend, and help document team meetings.
  • Prepare reports which are data and graph based.
  • Ability to track and present detailed schedules, milestone objectives, status reports, and other documentation clearly and accurately.
  • Manage the team’s bug and task queues using our internal project tracking tools.
  • Identify production issues and work to develop solutions with fellow Production Coordinators.
  • Ensure key dates are understood by the team and communicated to others.
  • Develop relationships and maintain regular communication with Leads, Directors, and Production staff.
  • Identify and anticipate risks, mitigate them, and drive the team towards successful resolution within timescales. Maintain a flexible approach towards the delegated tasks.
  • Ability to work using initiative and autonomy, while collaborating closely with the development team in multiple locations globally.

Position: Technical Artist: Animation (All Levels)

Job Location: Bangalore

Experience: 0-6 yrs.

Responsibilities:

  • This is a Technical Artist role with an Animation specialism. The candidate could potentially be involved in a wide variety of technical tasks related to Animation (Ingame, Cutscene, Face, Rigging, Production and Resource).
  • Note: This not a regular Animator position so the candidate won’t be doing any Animating.
  • Creating tools within Motionbuilder to support and push forward workflows across the various disciplines of Animation.
  • Writing standalone tools/systems (in Python/QT and C#) to connect various DCCs and inhouse tooling together into a cohesive Animation pipeline.
  • Assist the Rigging team in creation of highly advanced facial/character/weapon/vehicle rigs and related tooling.
  • Help develop and build on the facial animation and recognition pipeline.
  • Write C++ plugins to customise and extend DCC packages as required for our bespoke needs.
  • Develop our Automation systems and writing new behaviour to support on-going Animation development across multiple projects.
  • Create production tools to support new pipelines and future tech.
  • Write documentation for pipelines/tools created.
  • Staying current with latest technologies/research ongoing in the field to help keep our Animation tools and pipelines at the cutting edge.
