‘Werewolf: The Apocalypse – Earthblood’ drops a new cinematic trailer

Cyanide Studio’s Werewolf: The Apocalypse – Earthblood has dropped a new cinematic trailer that sees protagonist infiltrating Endron, a subsidiary of Pentex which is destroying nature.

Based on the tabletop RPG Werewolf: The Apocalypse, a part of the World of Darkness universe that also contains Vampire: The Masquerade, the game will be coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, and is pencilled in for a 2020 release.

The story follows the Cahal, an eco-terrorist werewolf banished from his tribe, but deciding to fight against the corporations that have caused pollution across the American Northwest. The game will let you shapeshift between wolf, human and werewolf form, to explore, converse and fight across this region.

Gameplay revolves around managing multiple forms, from the wolf and human to the werewolf. While you can use wolf form for tracking and stealth, werewolf form will be used for beating down foes. Of course, when you need to go incognito, the human form is best. Players will be able to customise their character with a variety of different skills and power-ups.

Werewolf: The Apocalypse – Earthblood was announced in January 2017, but was first shown at E3 2019 and then at PDXCON 2019 in October. However, it doesn’t currently have a release date but more information will be shared at the publisher’s Nacon Connect in July.
