Radio Flyer Studio (US based digital entertainment giant), Max & Maple: The Can-Do Kids will return to YouTube on 2 November with a new season packed with imaginative escapades, catchy songs and comic mischief.
Aimed at children aged four to seven, the series follows Max, an adventurous dog, his curious beaver sister Maple and their turtle neighbour Thelma as they turn everyday play into extraordinary adventures with their iconic red wagon and its mischievous Wheelios.
The second season features seven-minute episodes, with a new instalment released every three weeks. From transforming their wagon into a spaceship, time-travel machine or ice-cream truck to building inventions and making new friends, the young adventurers show how imagination can turn the ordinary into the extraordinary.
Developed by Radio Flyer CEO and chief wagon officer Robert Pasin, executive producer and head of studio Carrie Miller (Adventure Time) and executive producer Deborah Frank (Arthur), the series aims to encourage active play, curiosity and problem-solving. Peter Hannan (CatDog) is the head writer.
Radio Flyer executive producer and head of studio Miller shared, “Max & Maple: The Can-Do Kids models intergenerational play through storytelling, showcasing the unbounded fun families can have when they spend time playing together outdoors. We also know that kids are increasingly spending time on YouTube, so it was important for us to create a safe space for them, with quality content and positive messaging that sparks curiosity, wonder, and imagination-fueled play.”
Each episode features an original song, while the Wheelios (Wagon Wheelios mischievous little creatures) bring a dose of slapstick to the siblings’ adventures. The fun extends beyond the main series, with Wheelios comedy shorts, the Max & Maple’s big adventure podcast, music videos and character shorts available and in development for the channel.
