From the classroom to the cartoon universe, Pogo and Cartoon Network are taking their characters on the road and bringing a million young viewers along for the ride.
Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD) has kicked off the 19th edition of its School Contact Programme (SCP), reaching one million children across 1,400 schools in 18 cities. Running from August to October, the nationwide initiative brings the networks into classrooms through games, challenges, characters and interactive experiences.
The 2026 edition spans Delhi NCR, Dehradun, Patna, Chandigarh, Kochi, Vijayawada, Vizag, Hyderabad, Indore, Ahmedabad, Kolkata, Kanpur, Lucknow, Chennai and Surat, with the programme extending its reach across generations of schoolchildren.
“At Warner Bros. Discovery, we believe the strongest connections are built when children experience our characters on screen and beyond, and our School Contact Programme is a key pillar of how we bring Pogo and Cartoon Network to life for young audiences,” Warner Bros. Discovery South Asia marketing head Janhavi Vyas stated. “By engaging one million kids through our beloved and new characters, we are deepening our connection with the next generation while instilling values of kindness, teamwork, creativity and confidence. This programme reflects our larger marketing vision of building lasting brand affinity by meeting children where they are, both on screen and off it.”
This year, the classroom gets two different doses of cartoon-powered fun. Pogo’s Heroes of Kindness encourages empathy, teamwork and everyday acts of kindness, while Cartoon Network’s Titans of Tomorrow focuses on creativity, confidence and inspiring children to become changemakers.
Each 40-minute session packs in interactive games, character-led activities, audio-visual experiences and challenges. Children also get to meet familiar favourites including Chhota Bheem, Little Singham, Sampat Champat, Omi, Teen Titans, Kian & Kiki and Ben 10.
Beyond the fun and games, the SCP also opens the door for brand partners to connect with young audiences through an in-school environment designed around participation and engagement.
“WBD’s School Contact Programme has become one of our most meaningful initiatives, allowing us to engage with children beyond the television screen in a fun, interactive and purposeful way. This year, through Pogo’s Heroes of Kindness and Cartoon Network’s Titans of Tomorrow, we are encouraging values that help children grow into empathetic, confident and creative individuals,” Warner Bros. Discovery South Asia advertising revenues head Tanaz Mehta commented. “At the same time, the programme continues to provide our advertising partners with an unmatched opportunity to connect with our fans and families through experiences that leave a lasting impact.”
The sponsorship line-up is just as packed. Pogo’s Heroes of Kindness is presented by YiPPee! Noodles and co-powered by Act II Popcorn, Parle Candy Culture and Arun Ice Creams, with Santoor Hand Wash and Ziggy Donut Cake as associate sponsors. Cartoon Network’s Titans of Tomorrow is presented by Britannia Cakes, co-powered by Dettol and Candyman, with Bauli Moonfils as snack partner.
With school bells ringing across 18 cities until October, Pogo and Cartoon Network are taking their brand of storytelling beyond the screen one classroom, one game and one act of kindness at a time.
