Oakley’s ‘Disruptive by Design Challenge’ TVC conceptualised, designed and executed by The Square Peg Films with Virat Kohli

Oakley, one of the leading global sports brands, launched its interactive campaign ‘Disruptive by Design Challenge’ with Virat Kohli as Oakley’s face in India to spread awareness amidst the social media audience about four different categories of eye wears that the brand produces.

“Our objective was to create an innovative video that features Virat and explains the brand’s offering. That’s why we chose to go the interactive route and planned to make the video using YouTube’s annotation feature. In the video Virat Kohli gives the viewers a chance to win a pair of Oakley shades of their choice, while explaining them with the benefits of each of them. Here, the execution has been very interestingly done, and the music, animation, everything changes as per the product features. For instance, if he is talking about Garage Rock, which is a retro frame and meant for lovers of rock music, the music changes to rock and the graphics in background also changes accordingly. Such videos are the new age way of interacting with the customers,” said The Square Peg Films founder-director Pooja Mishra.

Oakley’s ‘Disruptive by Design Challenge’ campaign was conceptualised, designed and executed by The Square Peg Films in association with BrandmoversIndia, it is certainly an engaging way of communicating with the brand followers and consumers. The video is high on graphics which has been done to showcase the stylish eyewear(s) in a never before experienced manner.
