Marvel’s ‘Merc with the Mouth’ dies in latest #45 Deadpool comic

Ironically a couple of weeks back, Ryan Reynolds tweeted his first look as Deadpool lying casually across a Bear-skin rug in the upcoming superhero tent-pole and today Marvel unveils Deadpool’s latest comic issue #45 Deadpool where the ‘Merc with the Mouth’ will be killed. The unconventional Marvel hero will meet his maker in the 250thDeadpool issue which is penned by writers Gerry Duggan and Brian Posehn along with artist Mike Hawthorne.

As per the latest issue, which is following Marvel’s Avengers and New Avengers series, Marvel has openly worded out its first casualty, Deadpool who will succumb when the main 616 Marvel universe collides with the Ultimate Marvel Universe. Deadpool sadly will no longer be part of the upcoming Secret Wars mini-series which follows the events of this catastrophe.

Responding to Deadpool’s demise in the comic books, Ryan tweeted an image of himself in the recently revealed full costume, reading the latest issue while sitting on the toilet. In his tweet Ryan stated “Smells like someone died up in here. #alivepool” Now that’s the clear sign from the actor to his fans that the upcoming Deadpool  (2016) is still in production and the studio, 20th Century Fox wouldn’t be changing their mind anytime soon.

The upcoming Deadpool helmed by TimMiller will hit the theatres on 12 February 2016 will tell the origin story of former Special Forces operative turned mercenary Wade Wilson aka Deadpool. After being subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers, adopts the alter ego Deadpool. Armed with his new abilities and a dark, twisted sense of humour, Deadpool hunts down the man who nearly destroyed his life.
