Hyderabad Comic-Con to witness 12 year old boy’s novel ‘The Seven Beasts’

Now let’s go back to our childhood days. Did you have an ambition at the age of 12? Do you remember what you were doing at that time? Well, in this 21 century when all the children of this age group are busy watching Television and playing games, somewhere in the heart of Hyderabad, Syed Shehzor Mujthedi (12 years old) is busy writing novels. This young talent has written a 116 pages long novel, The Seven Beasts which will be launched at Hyderabad Comic-Con.

“I got inspired to write a novel about beasts from the cartoons which I used to watch when I was 7 or 8 year old. My characters are very much different from others mainly because my characters are all mythical beasts living on another planet,” explained the young Shehzor to AnimationXpress.com.

Not only this, the boy has tremendous potential and capability. He already has few more books in line, just waiting for the right time and people. “Earlier I used to write stories and small comics on Wattpad, where I got many likes and comments and this motivated me to write a full-fledged novel. This is the only book in this series but I am planning to make another special edition of this book with some extra content,” revealed Shehzor.

The editing of the novel has been done by Shehzor’s mother and colleague Swarupa, whereas the cover page of the book has been created by partridge publishers. Shehzor said: “My target audience is the teenage fantasy readers. I am looking forward to release my other books and I will try to put them in later comic cons as well.”

But how can we forget to show appreciation to the person who actually found this child with the gift of the gab. Eajaz, founder, Hyderabadtalks.com one day bumped into Shehzor’s father and that’s how he got to know about his hidden talent. “At the age of 12, I was never into reading stuff, but after meeting Shehzor I realized that such talent should be shown to the world. It will also help other students like him who have desire for writing to be inspired.”

The Seven Beasts will be launched worldwide on online stores like Flipkart, Amazon, Snap Deal and many more. The soft cover of the book has been priced at Rs 350 whereas it will be Rs 196 for the e-book.

“It was not so difficult for me to manage my studies with my passion as I am used to writing novels and I had set the time for both the things. Along with this my family is very supportive and they have helped me and motivated me a lot,” he ended.
