Firefly Wedding follows Satoko, who appears to have everything a noblewoman could want, except time. With her life running out, she is determined to marry well and win her father’s approval. But her plans take a violent turn when a ruthless assassin kidnaps her.
Faced with a deadly predicament, Satoko makes an extraordinary offer: marry her, and they can have it all. Shinpei accepts, but the arrangement soon becomes more dangerous as he develops an obsessive attachment to her. Satoko must then navigate the treacherous line between duty and a love that could consume them both.
With its mix of period romance, danger and unsettling obsession, Firefly Wedding is no ordinary walk down the aisle. The English dub is ready to say I do, but this is one wedding where the vows could prove deadly.
