Disney to launch mobile based on ‘Big Hero 6’ on 3 November

Disney is launching a game supporting its latest animation feature ‘Big Hero 6’ for Android, iOS and Windows 8 mobile devices on 3 November.

It is a three tile match puzzle game, where one needs to match the tiles and collect hundreds of robots and even upgrade them. The more the matches you make, the bots keep attacking the enemies. But one needs to be careful as there are elements that damage the player’s health too. The gameplay is similar to Candy Crush and other Disney games like Frozen and Maleficent.

All the characters in the movie will be in the game, plus the players will be able to customise their team. Disney has worked with mobile game developer Gumi to produce the game and bring in the world of Hiro and Baymax to the small screen.

Disney Interactive producer Scott Humphries at the recent launch event said, “The game will involve ‘strategy and depth’ as players customise their team.”

Big Hero 6 is an upcoming Walt Disney 3D animated movie which is releasing on 7 November. The movie is inspired by Marvel Comics superhero team of the same name.
