Night city is getting a new gang of guns-for-hire and things are about to get messy. Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2 will premiere on Netflix on 20 October, with a teaser trailer offering the first look at its new crew and neon-soaked return to the Cyberpunk 2077 universe.
Set in the same ruthless metropolis as the first Edgerunners, the new instalment shifts the spotlight to an entirely new group of mercenaries, voiced by a fresh cast and brought to life with a reimagined animation style.
The standalone 10-episode series is billed as a raw tale of redemption and revenge in a city where violence sells, spectacle rules and survival comes at a price. Its central question is suitably night city: when everyone is fighting for attention, just how far must you go to make your story matter?
While the city remains familiar, the players have changed. The new crew will carve out its own path through night city, where ambition, bloodshed and corporate power rarely make for a peaceful commute.
