MAAC’s NSM 2012 sees strong student participation

National Student’s Meet (NSM) 2012, an initiative of  Maya Academy of Advanced Cinematics (MAAC) to congregate MAAC students from across India, witnessed 275+ student participation at the Riviera De Goa/ Resort Rio in Goa for 5 days.

The event proved as a great platform for MAAC students to get exposed to the experimental animation and design by Mr. E. Suresh & Team from Eeksaurus studios and photography by legend Akashendu Das along with other experts from International and Indian studios such as Mr. Subhajit Sarkar from Rhythm & Hues, Mr. Srinivas Murli Mohan from the Indian Artist Studio and Mr. Viral Thakkar from Pixion.

At the successful completion of NSM 2012, Ram Warrier, Business Head, MAAC said, “The objective of this event was to expose the students to the dynamics of this industry and the response has been tremendous. Events like these will help shaping up the aspirants to be industry leaders enabling them with advanced career skills and talent.”

MAAC’s students are placed as Modeling Artists, Lighting Artist, Render Artist, Character Animator, Layout Artist , Digital Sculptor, Rigging Artist, FX Artist, Roto Artist, Match Mover, Video Editor, Motion Graphics Artist, Compositors, Visualizes, Content Developers and Pre and Post Production executives in animation studios and entertainment companies like Prime Focus, Rhythm & Hues Studios, Crest Animation Studios, BIG Animation, Cornershop, EFX, Toonz Animation, DQ Entertainment, Paprikaas Animation Studios, NDTV, Studio 9, Redchillies.VFX, Vaibhav Studios, IBN7, Animax, Pixion and Tata Elxsi Ltd. to name a few.
