MAAC conducts ‘Walk-a-thon’ to celebrate International Animation Day at its Bangalore centre

Maya Academy of Advanced Cinematics (MAAC), one of the leading 3D Animation and Visual Effects (VFX) training institute conducted a  Walk-a-thon, to celebrate the World Animation Day on October 28th at its Bangalore centre.

Walk-a-thon is being organized in order to affirm the importance of World Animation Day and pay tribute to the wonderful world of animation. The event was flagged off by Mr. Shajan Samuel, Sr. Vice President, MAAC who led a group of more 200 participants disguised in their favorite characters from various animation movies as well as by holding Placards. The group walked up till Forum and then walked back to Sony world signal Koramangala, It was a wonderful sight to see young animation aspirants dressed colorfully and walking with full glee and energy.

Mr. Shajan Samuel, Sr. Vice President, MAAC commented, ”Animation industry is growing at a breathtaking space and suddenly with the recent success of movies like Chota Bheem, Arjun the Warrier & Delhi Safari Indian Animation has once again bounced back and slowly started to exhibit its craft. With Walk-a-thon we wish to engage more enthusiasts in our celebrations.”  He also said that MAAC Bangalore had conducted a flash mob at Brigade road to usher in World Animation Day and three other Flash Mob were conducted at different Malls in Bangalore, He added that MAAC Hyderabad had conducted a flash Mob at the Hyderabad Airport which had more than 3000 Passengers transfixed to the entire show.
