Creative Mentors College of Animation and Gaming Launch Second Centre at Hyderabad

Creative Mentors, the college that was in news April for bagging the honor of the best animation and gaming college of Hyderabad by Brands Academy and Big Brands Research has jumpstarted its second centre yesterday at Kavuri Hills, Madhapur.

Ponnala Lakshmaiah, Minister for Information Technology & Communications, Government of Andhra Pradesh inaugurated the college along with SRI Boyapati Srinu, Digiquest CMD, Sri Basi Reddy and Realtor MLM Raju.

And, this news has an interesting touch to it as this new college will offer animation, vfx and gaming degrees and diplomas in regular as well as distance mode.

Speaking to AnimationXpress.com’s Zeenia Boatwala about this new centre, Suresh Reddy, Founder and Managing Director, Creative Mentors, says, “We opened this new centre to boost the extensive and increasing education needs of the aspirants interested in animation, vfx and gaming graduation courses.”

This college will also serve as online learning source for animation, vfx and gaming where highly accredited industry experts would be teaching the students.

The courses that would be offered in regular as well as distance mode shall surround around Diplomas in Animation, VFX, Gaming and graduation courses of BA, BFA and MA. Students interested in online training-distance education will be given animation, vfx, gaming lessons through video training which would be carried out on a daily basis and also the students can appear online for their examinations.

Sharing more on the content that would be taught, Suresh emphasizes, “Animation is a vast subject and needs lot of learning. It was difficult to deliver minute details of this subject in short term course format hence by bringing in a variety of long term courses, we can give students detailed knowledge of every animation medium.”

The admissions for this new centre are in progress and the first batch kick starts from 15thJuly.

“Our new centre has a space for Drawing, sculpting, an added Art gallery and a division for Acting”, adds, Suresh.

Suresh doesn’t want to stop here and wants to spread animation education to maximum number of audiences. He has already laid plans for launching the third centre of Creative Mentors by end of this month at Dilsukhnagar, Hyderabad. “With this new centre, we want to raise the bar of animation education and deliver quality manpower to the entertainment industry.” concludes, Suresh
