Reliance Entertainment appoints Amit Khanduja as CEO, Reliance Games

Reliance Entertainment has announced the appointment of Amit Khanduja as the new CEO of Reliance Games, effective 1 June, 2015. Amit is presently serving as COO of the company, and will take over from Manish Agarwal, outgoing CEO as was earlier reported by AnimationXpress.com.

On the elevation, Reliance Group, MD, Amitabh Jhunjhunwala said: “Amit is a proven leader,and has built a strong foundation for innovation and growth. I am confident that under his leadership, we will chart a promising new phase of success in the global mobile and digital gaming space.”

Amit has more than 20 years of experience in the Mobile and Digital media with specific focus on consumer marketing, product development, developer evangelism and digital monetisation. Prior to joining Reliance Group, he held executive positions with Sun Microsystems, Hewlett Packard, etc.

Amit has a distinguished track record and was at the forefront of Reliance Games’ evolution into a global mobile gaming publisher, launching global titles in association with top Hollywood studios like Warner Bros., Lionsgate, Sony Pictures, DreamWorks Studios and Legendary Pictures. Reliance Games is one of the most successful Indian game developers and publishers, with more than 200M downloads across its popular titles like Real Steel, Pacific Rim, Hunger Games – Catching Fire-Panem Run, Dancing with the Stars, etc.
