A full length animated film, couple of animated shows and second season of Guardians of the Galaxy is on its way as announcements galore at Marvel panel at New York Comic Con this Friday. Marvel’s head Joe Quesada and president of television and publishing, Dan Buckley, highlighted that the animated films will be a family-friendly adventure about the holidays that will be told in a ‘Marvel way’.
The animated film Marvel Super Hero Adventures: Frost Fight! is set to feature the beloved super heroes Iron Man, Hulk, Captain America, Captain Marvel, Thor, Reptil and the unique combo of Santa Claus vs. Loki and Ymir. Quesada added, “Santa has a secret that will be revealed in this film.” So to know what the secret is, you need to wait for the holidays. Marvel will unveil it in coming December.
To keep the love for animation alive, Marvel is coming up with two animated shows on Disney in 2016. One of which is Avengers: Ultron Revolution that is a package of mini-series featuring the core team of Avengers along with additions like Ant Man, Ms. Marvel and Black Panther. The other animated show is Ultimate Spider-Man vs. Sinister 6 which will include appearances from Iron Spider, Scarlet Spider and Miles Morales.
After the spell bound Guardians of the Galaxy animated TV series season 1 that premiered last month, the second season was much expected. And the good news is that the wait is over as Marvel is coming up with Guardians of the Galaxy Season 2 on Disney XD. And to set a feel of the upcoming series, a Cosmic Mix Volume 1 music release will be out on 16 October, 2015 featuring songs from the animated series.
Keeping up to the marvelous legacy of superhero films that has fascinated the whole world all these years, Marvel has a lot in store for the future and continues to maintain its high standards. So this year, your holiday is going to be special with the Marvel Holiday Special bonanza!
