Finding Dory new teaser keeps the underwater quest going

Introduction of the character has always been a significant feature of Disney Pixar. Be it the emotions of Inside Out or Arlo of The Good Dinosaur and now Dory of Finding Dory, Disney Pixar has always concentrated on creating a perpetual mark of the character in the minds of the audience. And to continue this effort, Disney UK released a new teaser for the upcoming animated feature Finding Dory.

A sequel to the franchise Finding Nemo (2003), Finding Dory is based on the same lines in terms of the plot where a tang fish is lost and the immediate characters conspire to find her. But this time as the name suggests, it is all about Dory; the forgetful fish is lost or rather has gone on her quest to find her own family.

Dory voiced by Ellen DeGeneres is a substantial character as apart from being the driving force to find Nemo, Dory cornered a memory in the audience by her incredible features and loving nature. In this teaser too, Dory is seeing loitering around the title with her curious mind thinking that it is about finding someone named Dory. And as per her nature, she moves away unknowingly only to realise that ‘that someone’ to be found is herself! And to keep the spirit for the search and the anxiety of being lost alive, the teaser ends with Dory claiming ‘Where am I?’

This leaves the audience with a dilemma as to where Dory will be traversing in her adventure, and will Nemo and his father find her, will Dory find her family… Also, the entire teaser resonates the whole feel of the sea as there is nothing but Dory, the title and the bright sea. Disney Pixar known for their strong style of animation has released this teaser to cement the character and the central plot amidst the viewers. While, let the dilemma be answered when the film directed by Andrew Stanton along with Angus MacLane will hit theatres on 17 June, 2016.
