Bond shows up in a new behind the scene footage of ‘Spectre’

Eon Productions and MGM have released behind the scene footages from the new Bond movie Spectre. Daniel Craig returns to play the iconic detective James Bond in the 24th 007 film. The behind the scene footage shows a car chase sequence in Austrian mountain range which will form a pivotal scene in the movie according to associate producer Gregg Wilson.

The video includes commentary from actors Léa Seydoux and Dave Bautista, who play Madeline Swann and Mr Hinx in the upcoming movie, on their experiences recording the scene. The film’s production crew, including associate producer Gregg Wilson, production designer Dennis Gassner, and production manager Martin Joy, also discuss the challenges of scouting and filming in the harsh location.

“It’s going to be spectacular and Austria seemed to offer everything that we needed to pull it off,” said Gregg

“The thing that Sam and I talked about was how we are going to top Skyfall [with] Spectre and so far it’s a great start,” added production designer Dennis Gassner. “I think that we are going to continue the history of the Bond films, making things that are exciting for the audience to look at, and what could be more exciting than to be on top of the world.”

Spectre, the movie’s called after the evil organisation of the same name that featured in Ian Fleming’s original Bond novels and featured in the Sean Connery movie, Dr. No but has been the center of copyright disputes between Fleming and screenwriter Kevin McClory that kept it out of a number of Bond movies. The dispute has been settled clearing the way for Bond’s biggest enemies to return to the screen.
