‘Watch Dogs: Legion Will’ is free to play this weekend

Watch Dogs: Legion

Ubisoft recently announced a free weekend for Watch Dogs: Legion. Beginning on 25 March 2021, Watch Dogs: Legion will be made available to play for fans until 29 March on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

The pre-load for the free trial will be going live on 24 March on PlayStation consoles and PC. It is notable that the free trial on PlayStation 5 is actually the PS4 version of Watch Dogs: Legion played through backwards compatibility.

The free trial will allow players to check out Watch Dogs: Legion’s campaign up to the Skye Larsen mission. Players will also be allowed to explore half of the eight boroughs, including the City of London and Islington & Hackney.

The good news is that those playing on free version will be able to buy the game after the free trial and keep their game’s progression and continue it in the full game.

To tempt you into a purchase, there will be discounts on both the game and the season pass across selected platforms:

Ubisoft has planned out a lot of content for Watch Dogs: Legion. There will be free content, as well as exclusive content for season pass owners. The first of these, Leader of the Pack, is already out. It is a Tactical Op which requires teamwork and efficiency. It is available in Watch Dogs: Legion’s online mode.

Late May will see the release of two new PvP modes: Extraction and Invasion. There will also be a new Tactical Op, dubbed Project Omni.
