Noida International Film Festival 2014 Calls For Entries

After organizing several film festivals in Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Kolkata, Miniboxoffice has now proceeded further to recognise  the talent of young film makers through its Noida International Film Festival 2014 (NIFF), which is scheduled for 8th February 2014.

Adding to the Best Animation Film, Director & VFX awards, NIFF is  even open to accepting entries in varied categories of Documentaries, Feature Films and Music Videos as well.   The deadline for film submissions is 15th January 2014, followed by the short listed films which will be announced on 22nd January and delegate registrations by 25th January 2014.

Speaking to AnimationXpress.com about the mission of NIFF, Rambhul Singh, Marketing Head of Miniboxoffice and Director of NIFF-14, says, “Through NIFF-14, Miniboxoffice aims at boosting the self confidence & morale of upcoming filmmakers by offering a creative platform that will showcase their respective shorts”

The festival is accepting Indian & International entries at student level as well as professional level.  To meet eligibility of NIFF, only movies made after 2011 will be accepted, and the time duration for short animation should be less than 60 minutes and i 180 minutes for Feature shorts.

Till date, NIFF has already received 12 animation shorts from Spain, Germany, Iran, USA, Canada and Russia as well.

 Highlighting about the basis of winning the awards at NIFF -14 , Rambhul further adds, “As this festival believes in original ideas,  the shorts which will include highly skilled story treatment, cinematography ,editing along with glimpses of original creative idea will be able to grab the award at this fest.”

The master class by Rambhul Singh on ‘Marketing, distribution & revenue generation through short films’ is the key attraction of this fest. This festival has also tied up with Movibeta, Uptofest, Festhome, Filmfestivallife, clickforfestivals & Festentry.com.
